Brothers Carpet Cleaning

Institute Certification

Brothers Carpet Cleaning We use the Hydra Master van powered, truck mounted hot water extraction system. The hot water extraction system is the process recommended by major carpet manufacturers because they recognize it as having the best capability for cleaning. This equipment is safe, quiet, reliable and has enough power to deep clean the heaviest soil from any carpet, yet can be adjusted to gently clean your most delicate oriental rugs and upholstery fabrics. At a cost of over $40,000 per van/unit you can be sure we've carefully selected the best equipment for our skilled cleaning techs to use on your furnishings. Have you been told never to use water on your carpet? Please see Compare Cleaning Methods for more information.

Residential: Brothers Carpet Cleaning has built its fine reputation as 'The Established Professionals' primarily through the residential customer. Over 80% of the cleaning we do are for discriminating, quality conscious homeowners and renters like you. You expect and deserve dependable, courteous, honest, trustworthy and caring service in your home and that's what we deliver. Over 90% of our business comes from referrals from satisfied customers.

Commercial: The other 20% of our business is commercial cleaning. Because we do not provide janitorial services, floor waxing or window cleaning, we have a small niche market of restaurants and offices.

Lunch and dinner restaurants are cleaned early, around 4:00 or 5:00 a.m. With our thorough extraction process, and use of our special 'turbo dryer fans', we are able to get carpets cleaned and usable by the time the business opens.

Offices that do not contract with a janitorial company that provides 'truck mounted hot water extraction' will use Brothers Carpet Cleaning on a regular or 'as needed' basis. Whether you have employees or a smaller janitorial company taking care of your routine cleaning needs, you can count on us to handle the deep cleaning your furnishings require.

Carpet Cleaning: Professionally cleaning your carpets removes what your vacuum cleaner and little home steam machine can't. The oils and soils that cause embarrassing odors and spots in our homes and offices are removed by deep cleaning.

Carpet is a terrific investment for our home or office. It looks good. It feels comfortable under our feet. It reduces unwanted sound. It insulates. It traps airborne soils and dust. All a carpet asks in return is protection from a few nasty spills and proper professional care. With those things it will last and look good for years.

Upholstery Cleaning: We can safely clean 99% of upholstered fabrics right in your home or office. This includes Haitian cotton, cotton prints, wool, velvets, reverse weave or jacquards, linen, nylon, rayon, acrylic, polyester, herculon and more.

We have the expertise to inspect your fabric for, and guard against potential problems such as cushion shrinkage, skirt shrinkage and corner curl, texture damage to velvets and color problems such as fading and dye bleeding.

With great care, we are able to use the hot water extraction system on most upholstery, even many that say 'dry clean only', with remarkable results. Some fabrics require the use of specialized shampoo methods designed specifically for that fabric!

Beware of unbelievably low price advertisements by other cleaners. Improper cleaning can do unrepairable damage to fabrics. Proper and thorough cleaning of upholstery requires more time, special products and drying methods than carpet.

Since we don't take your furniture out to clean, it will be dry and ready for use the following day!

Oriental and Area Rugs: We clean many different types of rugs on-location. Wool or synthetic, Berber, cut pile, hook or braided, hand or machine made, with fringe or just bound edges. We take precautions to protect your wall-to-wall carpets and other floor surfaces in the process. As with your upholstery, your oriental and area rugs will be dry and ready for use the following day.

We recommend a local 'in-plant' cleaning company for flat weave, silk, antique rugs and those requiring delicate repairs or reweaving.

Odor Control: Most of the dust, pollen, spores, and other soils that land on your carpet are removed by vacuuming. Unfortunately, even the best vacuum cleaners engineered today cannot remove sticky or oily soils.

Cooking, heating, eating, foot traffic, pets, smoking, and general spills all create sticky, odor-causing soils.

If you leave your home closed up for a day or two and notice a faint odor when you return, you probably have the kind of oily or sticky soils which can cause odors in your carpet, rugs and even your upholstery.

A thorough, deep cleaning by Brothers Carpet Cleaning will help by removing those soils and oils that your vacuum cleaner, or even a home 'steamer' machine, cannot.

More challenging odors caused by dog body oil, urine, meat, milk, fish, blood, and body fluids are treated with enzyme deodorizers. Enzyme deodorants contain living organisms, which digest decaying protein matter and some organic matter in the cleaning and deodorizing process.

Enzymes are used in some laundry detergents and laundry spotting products, and you can buy some enzyme deodorizers at pet supply stores and veterinarian offices.

We do not recommend that you attempt to treat these odor problems yourself. We generally have greater success when no home remedies have been attempted.

DuPont Teflon Advanced Protector: Newly improved with twice the oil based spill protection and four times the water based spill protection than the original formula.

Fluorine is found in your blood, teeth and bones. It is also in plants. We use it to purify water and to improve toothpaste. A product made from fluorine is Polytetrafluoroethylene. The common name for this product is Teflon. Teflon and another well-known product, Scotchgard, are parts of a family of fiber protectors called fluorocarbons.

Under the microscope, carpet and upholstery fibers exhibit tiny imperfections along their surface. Soils settle into these tiny imperfections. The result is the fibers become soiled and look dull.

Fiber protectors are applied to new or freshly cleaned carpet, upholstery or area rugs, and find their way into the tiny imperfections of the fibers. Now when soils are introduced to the fibers, they have more difficulty getting lodged because the fiber protector is there.

Protectors help your furnishings repel both wet and dry soil making them easier to spot clean, and making your vacuuming more effective. Please see FAQs (Does cleaning remove the original soil retardant protector from my carpet?).
