Our History

The Most Trusted Name in Cleaning Services for over 50 Years!

Bob Kramer and Tony Metcalf founded Brothers Cleaning Services in 1973. It started as a part-time business to provide the two partners with income while they continued their college educations, but after several months of considering their educational direction, they decided to temporarily devote their full-time efforts to their fledgling cleaning service business. Brothers built an excellent reputation, purchased state-of-the-art equipment, and grew steadily to be the largest company of its kind in the Eugene/Springfield Oregon area. The company’s commercial cleaning service area includes Eugene, Springfield, Corvallis, Albany, Salem, and surrounding Oregon communities. Bob Kramer left Brothers Cleaning in 1988­­ and Tony Metcalf remained as the CEO of Brothers, until his well-deserved retirement in 2019.

In November 2019, Brothers was purchased by Steve Dahill. Over decades, Tony Metcalf built Brothers into the area’s largest and most respected commercial cleaning company with a strong commitment to integrity, fairness, dependability, and customer satisfaction. Under its new ownership, Brothers Cleaning continues to adhere to these principles.
